Hey guys, in this blog i'm going to give you the rules/regulations and other information about submitting your music to be played on the Unsigned EDM podcast. I'm going to give you a form that you can copy and paste into an email and you can fill out, so I get all the details that I need to get your track on the podcast. Here is said form:

A few notes on the above:
1. The reason I want your real name is so I can actually interact with you as a person, rather than just with an Alias.
2. If an Alias is given then that is what I shall refer to you and your track by on the show.
3. I will post the following info on this blog/ the podbean blog so as people can look for you on myspace or soundcloud etc: Alias, Track Name, Influences, Website (will not post e-mail address as if you have a webpage then people are probably able to get in touch with you through that) and where abouts your track appears on the podcast (start time in the mix).
4. Please Use UNSIGNED EDM PODCAST SUBMISSION FORM as the subject heading.
5. If the Decleration of Originality is not correctly filled out, I will try to send an email back asking you to complete this.
If the Decleration of Originality is not complete then your music will NOT be played on the podcast.
6. Do not take the piss with submissions. Please only send one song per podcast. After a podcast has been released then we can start all over again and you can re-submit.
7. I will do my best to play most of the songs I receive, but for obvious reasons, not all submissions can be played.
8. I ask for Skype availability because I want to invite artists on the show to have a chat, talk about their music and let them introduce their work. If your computer has an inbuilt microphone then it is likely you will be able to download Skype and use it...provided I can make it work and record it etc.
9. I am doing on this on a part-time/voluntary basis. Please understand that I have university and stuff to do as well and, as much as i'm hoping to make this a big part of my life, don't hassle me 24/7 about things! I'm still learning how to do this, and i'm doing it to make you guys that submit your music look good!
10. Your help will be needed to publicise and market the podcast. It's your music getting played so I am sure you would want as many people as possible to listen! Nothing major needs to be done, but just plug the hell out of it on forums, myspace, your facebook page etc...do what you can to spread the word so we can make this a global community!
11. Submissions should be made via E-mail to unsignededm@hotmail.co.uk . Please copy, paste and complete the form at the top of this blog into the body of your email, and attatch your music as an mp3 file so i can open it in iTunes.
I know there is a lot there but please take the time to read and consider all the points. This will help making the podcast easier to make and produce, which will ultimately lead to a better quality and hopefully then, a higher listenership.
